The new Portrait Milano hotel, owned by Lungarno Collection, brand of the Ferragamo’s family, opened in the heart of Milan, inside the historic Archbishop’s Seminary at Corso Venezia.

The new hotel is at the second floor of the building, developing over an area of 2,800 square meters on the new Quadrilateral Square. While the inner courtyard and ground floor spaces become new public square for Milan with stores, restaurants, gymnasium and swimming pool.

Designed by architect Michele De Lucchi surrounded by a majestic loggia, this palace stands out for its monumental architecture.

Astec developed impressive, motorized sliding doors over 6 meters high that dominate the space with a fusion of elegance and innovation.

Characterized by high structural, thermal and acoustic performance, these doors distribute the weight on the floor through stainless steel microrollers.

With large door dimensions, up to L 2.5 x H 6.5 meters, this architectural solution combines greatness and functionality between imposing design and cutting-edge performances.
