Quality and Safety: our certifications

Our production processes adhere to the standards of a quality management and organizational efficiency system, as certified by ISO 9001.

We have chosen to implement quality management as a means to achieve our goals and ensure customer satisfaction.

Additionally, our entire product range is guaranteed by notified bodies to meet the safety, health, and environmental protection requirements of CE Marking. Beyond the regulatory checks, we subject our products to additional tests to ensure their performance is consistently high.

To ensure our commitment to environmental responsibility and consumer protection, we collaborate with highly qualified partners who align with our philosophy and are able to provide certificates of origin and traceability for production batches, offering our clients all the necessary guarantees.

Thanks to this sustainability-focused working methodology and adherence to the principles of a circular economy, companies and architects who choose to collaborate with Astec can earn valuable points within the LEED certification rating system ("Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design"), a widely recognized certification that highlights the presence of "green companies" with a low environmental impact.

To ensure compliance with US market requirements, Astec products are certified according to the rigorous NFRC Certification Process, a certification system that evaluates the energy performance of windows, doors and skylights.

The process provides objective and standardized measurements on several key parameters related to the energy efficiency of the products, including:

  • - Thermal transmittance (U-value)
  • - Solar Heat Gain Coefficient (SHGC)
  • - Visible transmittance (VT)
  • - Air Leakage

Upon request, we can also provide Cekal certified glass, the certification standard that approves the quality, durability and sustainability of insulating, laminated and tempered glass.

This process examines and evaluates products by independent laboratories along the entire production chain, from components to the finished product.
