Molino Stucky, once an 18thcentury flour mill, is today a majestic residential complex commanding the western end of the Island of Giudecca in Venice. This extensive restoration project was supervised by the Superintendent of Public Works, as befitting such a national architectural treasure, and required Astec to make careful field measurements of each individual arched opening in this historic brick structure as no two were exactly identical. The door and window frames were then produced in architectural bronze ABX® T50 and L80 series, contributing a rich, authentic accent to the overall design aesthetic.
