25 Bond Street is a luxurious residential building located in the heart of New York City’s NoHo neighborhood, an area increasingly favored by artists. It has nine floors: housing seven residential units and on the ground floor some commercial spaces.
While creating a dialogue with the neighboring historic buildings, the main façade is distinguished by an extraordinary contemporary style in which the ABX® technology offered by Astec is well featured. Architectural bronze, a fine and exclusive material, was chosen by the designer for its qualities of strength and solidity, as well as for its aesthetic value, emphasized by the elegant Classic burnishing.
Astec oversaw the production of the special copper alloy cladding and more than 80 parallel sliding windows, large windows and automatic doors made in the W65 and K85 thermal break series. Among the various copper alloy elements, the parapets and canopy complete with laser-cut signboard also stand out.
25 Bond Street is a major work whose mock-up was tested to ASTM standards in Pennsylvania to ensure Astec’s typical high quality standards.
